And if you’re a sea-lover and have been living or visiting Mallorca for quite some time, you’d probably already know that it is really hard to choose only five coves, as you will probably run into one marvellous hidden spot after another. We’ll try our best to share all about our favourite Mediterranean coves. Let’s go!
Cala Mesquida - white sand and turquoise waters near Artà
If you’re looking for the ultimate Mediterranean experience Cala Mesquida is exactly the place you’ll want to visit. It is definitely one of the most magical places of Mallorca: located 12km from the old town of Artà and 7 km from Capdepera, fine white sand embraced by rocks, dunes and pine trees create a unique natural environment. The area surrounding Cala Mesquida and the northern town of Artà is charming, quiet and perfect for everyone looking for a villa, finca or house combining the best of a seaside and country location at the same time. Discover our wide range of properties in the area!
Cala Sant Vicenç - the perfect stop on the way from Pollença to its port
In the North of Mallorca, there are two towns and their ports drawing all the attention of visitors and home buyers on the island: we’re talking about Pollença and Alcúdia. Both of them have a beautiful old town where you can easily get lost wandering around its cobblestone streets and both of them have a beautiful port a couple of minutes away. And if you’re on the way from Pollença to Port de Pollença you will be able to stop by ‘Cala San Vicente’, a former fishing village with three little coves to discover: Cala Molins, Cala Clara and Cala Barques. Spend an afternoon hopping from one cove to another and have an afternoon drink in the village to wrap up a perfect day. If you happen to fall in love with the area you can check out our spectacular villas, fincas, houses and apartments for sale or for rent in the area of Pollença and Alcúdia.
Sa Calobra - a remote cove on the west coast of Mallorca
Sa Calobra is something different. You’re probably used to seeing Mallorca’s beautiful coves with white sand and crystal clear waters surrounded by pine trees. Well, Sa Calobra will take your breath away: situated at the end of a gorge made by the Torrent de Pareis, Sa Calobra lies directly in front of the se
a between high cliffs and is made from gravelly sand. The west coast of Mallorca is filled with beautiful and surprising spots to discover and if you’ve been dreaming about owning a home in this area, around Sóller, Valldemossa or Deià, we will make sure you find exactly what you have been looking for among our properties.
Cala Llamp - a piece of paradise next to Port d’Andratx
Port d’Andratx is one of the most exclusive ports on the island. It definitely has a quaint charm with little fishing boats, yachts, spectacular views and a beautiful promenade. We would be pleased to offer our advice on the area and the properties listed if you’re thinking about moving or about buying a property in Mallorca. If you’re familiar with Port d’Andratx you’ll probably know that it doesn’t have a beach directly at the harbour. Don’t you worry at all! Cala Llamp is on the South side of the peninsula that forms the bay of Port d'Andratx, offering you the possibility to enjoy one of the most beautiful coves of Mallorca minutes away from this fabulous harbour town. Are you in for a real treat? Spend the day at ‘Gran Folies beach club’, which Cala Llamp is home to.
